Allison Schlag, maiden surname Schaust, is a young woman from Minnesota. She loves all forms of storytelling. By day, Allison is a high school Spanish teacher. Allison lives with her husband and their two cats. She also has an American Paint horse named Charliey. In her free time, Allison enjoys reading, studying language, riding her horse, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Where It Began
From an early age, Allison loved storytelling. The games she'd play with her sister permeated imagination and detail. At the mere age of 10, she approached her mom with a flower notebook and announced that she wanted to publish a book. Those pages held the first story Allison would ever share with the world: The Star's Legend: The Beginning Battle. For two long years, Allison worked through the process of polishing her book with the help of her mom and a few beta readers. On November 23, 2011, The Star's Legend: The Beginning Battle was published under her maiden name, Allison Schaust.

Where It's Going
Since The Star's Legend: The Beginning Battle was published in 2011, Allison has never stopped writing. She's started various projects but none stuck. While in college, Allison began a manuscript that she hopes to publish in the coming years, nicknamed Project Dysterria. She will be posting updates of her progress so that readers can follow along with her on her writing journey.
