I completed my doctorate in psychology at Indiana University Bloomington, where my research focused on evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders (depression, anxiety), with a particular interest in populations at greater risk for development of psychopathology and barriers to treatment (e.g., Veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals). I am currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship in the Evidence-Based Practice Center at Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and provides mental health services within adolescent medicine, specializing in care for gender-expansive youth and young adults
My clinical work focuses on structured, evidence-based care to meet the needs and feasibility of the clinics within which I work. I provide same day consultation, brief intervention, and long-term therapy, all supervised by another licensed clinical psychologist.
My research focuses on increasing access to structured, evidence-based, and scalable mental health care. This includes the study of low-intensity treatments (e.g., websites, workbooks, self-help, digital mental health tools) and increasing access to affirming care for individuals who face other barriers (e.g., LGBTQ+ individuals).
Clinical interests: Depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, health related concerns (e.g., insomnia, needle phobia), trauma, sexual well-being
