About Me

Hi there! My name is Allison Luna and I graduated from Stony Brook University with Cum Laude, acquiring a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Digital Arts.

I took every chance to grow as an aspiring journalist throughout my academics. By actively participating in extracurricular activities, leading solo projects, and collaborating with other student journalists, I gained a well-rounded skill set to help me succeed in this industry.

I served as the social media intern at Long Island’s go-to source of news, Newsday Media Group. Additionally, I served as a news intern for WSHU Public Radio, an entertainment anchor for the Stony Brook Media Group, and a multimedia editor for the student magazine, the Stony Brook Press.

In addition, my passion for digital arts enhances my content creation skills, enabling me to produce visually engaging projects. I am excited to explore more opportunities within this field, whether it be in front of the camera or even behind the scenes.
