Amy Stone was born with Cerebral Palsy and is affected in all four of her limbs. She has had caregivers in her life for more than 12 years. Her “client perspective” provides caregivers with valuable insight into the lives of people with disabilities. Her experiences with caregivers, both good and bad, motivated her to engage with the caregiver community to improve the relationships between caregivers and their clients.
This is a 30 minute booking with a 15 minute presentation and a 15 minute Q&A session the objective of this presentation is to share my experience in equine assisted activities in a way that provokes meaningful conversations with instructors about how to manage a participant in a wheelchair as well as providing reflective questions when you're thinking about accessibility.

A 1 hour kinesthetic activity that relates to one of the following topics:

Goal setting
This presentation is for organization and business who want someone to be a voice for people with disabilities in the planning for an event:
Assist in the planning by providing feedback on idea and provide modification if necessary
Provide volunteer training
Provide on site help the day of the event.
