Extracurricular and Clubs

Hifz Club

Our Hifz program is designed to help students memorize the Holy Quran by heart with proper tajweed.

Through individualized instruction, daily review, goal-setting (using our Juz planning method based on Hifth level and abilities), students are set up for a self-paced path toward Hifz completion.

The purpose of participating in the County’s Fair is to encourage the scientific and technical interests of the BHA students.

The fair stimulates students to actively apply their scientific talents. Community recognition and the opportunity for exposure to scientists and scientific installations are provided in order to encourage talented youths to enter scientific careers.

Robotics Club

The BHA Botball Club Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school students in a team-oriented robotics competition, and serves as a perfect way to meet today’s new common core standards.

By exposing students to an inquiry-based, learn-by-doing activity that appeals to their hearts as well as their minds, the club addresses our nation’s need for a well-prepared, creative, yet disciplined workforce with leadership and teamwork experience.

Students use science, engineering, technology, math, and writing skills to design, build, program, and document robots in a hands-on project that reinforces their learning

NSTEM CHapter

The National STEM Honor Society’s™ (NSTEM™) core mission is to inspire and recognize excellence from K to Career in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. At the high school level, many students have a passion for STEM, are able apply critical analysis and creative thinking skills, and work well collaboratively in teams. NSTEM provides these students with enrichment activities outside the classroom and resources that further encourage them to pursue their dreams of working in the fields of STEM. For students of limited means, NSTEM provides a very economical source of academic enrichment to help level the playing field of opportunity. Student participation in NSTEM also impresses future employers and colleges/universities.
