Allie was born and raised in Detroit, MI, but spent almost a decade in Nashville, TN before settling into her current home in Brooklyn, NY. Having lived in cities with such vibrant music scenes, she's had the chance to fall in love with music over and over again since first stumbling upon the frequency of the alt canadian radio station that showed her Death Cab for Cutie as a kid.  From learning to play those songs on the radio by ear, to beginning to mix and record her college band(s), she's been largely self-taught, but has worked closely with many talented artists and mentors along the way. She's toured with musicians such as Cavetown, Katy Kirby, Fenne Lilly, and Illuminati Hotties, and has collaborated with Cavetown and others such as Yot Club and Chloe Moriondo on Mixing and Production. Allie is proud to be part of a community of artists, allied workers, and fans that value live and recorded music, the space it creates, and the human touch it requires.
