With extensive experience in the museum and art gallery industry, she has held roles across departments and conducted research at institutions including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, Ackland Art Museum at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Museum of Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, the Wellington B. Gray Gallery at East Carolina University, and the National Gallery of Australia, among others.
Allie earned her J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property from North Carolina Central University School of Law and an M.A. in art history (contemporary focus) from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed specialized coursework in art and entertainment law from Duke University School of Law, as well as a graduate-level Art & Markets course through the Duke Art, Law, & Markets Initiative (DALMI) at Duke University. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Art History from East Carolina University, University Honors Program and completed an Art History and Curatorship, Honors Study Abroad Program at the Australian National University. She began her undergraduate career in Art with a studio concentration before focusing on Art History.
