Why I Created This Site

In early 2026, I became aware that Alliance City Council and the city administration were having conversations about data centers. After many years working in technology, the topic caught my interest, and I began sharing what I was learning on Facebook.

Those posts led to conversations with people throughout Alliance and the surrounding area. Many had questions, concerns, and perspectives that gave me more to think about and research.

I created this site to bring that information together in one place and hopefully make it useful to others. My goal is to share what I find, link to sources, distinguish what we know from what still needs an answer, and update the information as we learn more.

I’m still learning, too. I hope this resource helps our community ask informed questions and better understand the decisions ahead.
