A typical Sunday gathering...
What happens during our services is generally described in 1 Corinthians 14:26: "When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation."
We begin with contemporary worship, singing together and turning our hearts toward Jesus.
“A hymn”
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today and may work through spiritual gifts such as prophecy or tongues with interpretation, always to encourage and strengthen the church and always under biblical guidance.
“A revelation… a tongue, or an interpretation”
We open the Scriptures to receive instruction, encouragement, and guidance from God’s Word.
“A lesson”
A Few More Things You Might Wonder About...
'nuff said!
Children stay with their parents during worship and are dismissed to fun, age-appropriate classes for the teaching time.
We don’t pass an offering plate, and if you’re our guest, there’s no obligation to give—we’re just glad you’re here.
You might wonder how the church is supported. We simply encourage giving as described in 2 Cor 9:7 "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
