Rural Youth Alliance

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) considers the participation of rural youth key in inclusive rural transformation processes. Over the last decade, and particularly since the approval of the Rural Youth Action Plan in December 2018, the Fund has committed its efforts, capacities, and investments to ensure effective rural youth inclusion in its operations and strategy development.

ALLIANCE ROLES

Advocacy role

Among regional, national and international institutions, representing the interests of rural youth in the public agenda, public policy design and development investments.

Rural Youth Alliances are expected to become a reliable interlocutor and representative of the voices of rural youth in front of the different public, private and civil actors that operate, invest and work in rural areas at community, national and international levels.
