We require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests. Because grooming appointments reserve dedicated time with our groomers, changes made with less notice can make it difficult to fill that appointment time.
A valid card on file is required before any appointment can be scheduled. When booking your appointment over the phone, we will ask for your card information so it can be securely added to our payment system along with your profile and your dog(s)’ information. Your appointment will be officially scheduled once your card on file has been added.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee. In the event of a no-call, no-show appointment, 100% of the scheduled service fee will be charged to the card on file.
We completely understand that unexpected situations happen, and we truly appreciate as much notice as possible whenever changes need to be made. This policy allows us to respect our groomers’ time and provide appointment availability to clients who may be waiting for grooming services.
If we are unable to safely complete a service due to a dog’s behavior, a $15+ handling fee may be applied. This may not apply to every appointment, as we understand behavior can improve over time, and we are always happy to work with you and offer guidance to help your pup feel more comfortable during grooming. We also charge a $20+ (depending on size and coat) flea and tick fee if any are found during the appointment. This includes safe removal of any ticks and a flea and tick shampoo treatment to help eliminate active parasites while your dog is in our care. Please note this service does not replace preventative medication, and we kindly ask that all dogs remain on a flea and tick prevention such as a chewable, topical, collar, or spray to help prevent future infestations.
We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it may not be safe or appropriate for a dog to be groomed, including situations where a pet may be too elderly or fragile for grooming, where behavior poses a safety concern for our staff, or if there is a severe flea infestation. In cases of fleas, we may require treatment from a veterinarian prior to scheduling a future appointment once your pet has been properly cleared. For example, if a dog has severe seizures or medical conditions that may be triggered by stress or a noisy environment, a grooming salon may not be suitable without additional accommodations such as our express service as listed in our pricing tab under "add ons" or a one on one appointment at a different salon with only one groomer and one dog at a time. If a dog has any medical issues that could pose a risk during grooming due to stress, we require that they are properly managed on prescribed medication to help ensure their safety and comfort. Our priority is always the safety, comfort, and well being of both pets and staff.
