I am Fantasha Allen, a dedicated advocate, healthcare professional, and future attorney committed to serving vulnerable populations through policy, justice, and compassionate care. With a strong foundation in social work and years of hands-on experience in long-term care facilities and healthcare settings, I’ve seen the real-life impact of systemic inequities—and I’ve committed my life to changing them.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Pre-Law at Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating in December 2025, with plans to earn my Juris Doctor by 2029. I proudly serve as a Representative for NASW Texas, a SWBLSA Ambassador, and a member of NABSW, aligning with organizations that share my passion for Black leadership, equity, and transformative justice.
My career began in healthcare, where I hold certifications as a CMA, CNA, Pharmacy Technician, Activity Director, and Medication Aide. These roles taught me not only how to provide care, but how to advocate for those whose voices often go unheard in policy decisions. My ability to operate within both clinical and community-based environments allows me to approach advocacy with empathy, skill, and cultural humility.
In May 2024, I participated in a global health study abroad program in Ghana, which broadened my perspective on healthcare disparities and cultural dynamics. Upon returning, I launched a successful shoe drive that provided hundreds of pairs of shoes to underserved communities in Ghana—proof that grassroots change can have global impact.
My commitment to justice led me to secure a prestigious internship with the Caddo Parish Public Defender’s Office (Summer 2025), where I have gained firsthand legal experience supporting individuals navigating the criminal justice system. I’ve also completed the University of Arkansas Spark Program for Future Law Students, a selective initiative supporting future leaders in law.
Outside of academics and advocacy, I am a consistent community volunteer, participating in outreach programs, crisis intervention, and service initiatives that directly benefit underserved populations in my region and beyond.
I do this work boldly and unapologetically as a Black woman, as a future legal advocate, and as someone who believes deeply in the power of legacy, education, and action. I am committed to building a future where systems work for the people, not against them
