Peterborough and Sharon deserve a representative who listens, takes responsibility, and delivers. Amanda’s priorities are clear: strong public schools, a fairer approach to education funding, and a community where everyone’s rights and dignity are protected.
Every child deserves a strong public education. Every community deserves a state government that pays its fair share.
Amanda supports fair taxation of corporations and dividend income to increase state revenue, adequately fund public education, and reduce the tax burden on homeowners. She will work to increase the state’s contribution to school funding so communities can meet students’ needs without continually raising local property taxes.
She will evaluate funding proposals against the actual cost of educating students and demand transparency in how public education dollars are spent. A child’s opportunities should not depend on their ZIP code.
Amanda opposes New Hampshire’s current Education Freedom Account program. She supports restoring income limits, strengthening financial oversight, and requiring meaningful transparency and accountability.
She also believes the state must take responsibility for families it encouraged to rely on EFAs. Reform should include a responsible transition for low-income families so they are not left bearing the consequences of the legislature’s policy decisions.
Amanda’s priority is clear: adequately funded public schools that serve every child.
Special education is an essential responsibility of public education. Students deserve appropriate services and meaningful inclusion, and schools need reliable funding to provide them.
Amanda will advocate for stronger state funding for special education, including the resources districts need to provide appropriate IEP supports, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other essential services.
Parents should not have to move or shop among districts to find a public school equipped to educate their child.
People need healthcare they can access and afford.
Amanda will work to repair and strengthen Medicaid, including eliminating work requirements, premiums, and copays that create barriers to coverage and care. She will advocate for reimbursement that enables providers to serve Medicaid patients, support rural hospitals, and expand access to primary care and mental health services.
She will bring her healthcare leadership experience to examining legislation and budgets, identifying gaps in access, and addressing administrative barriers that interfere with care. She will also support investments in the healthcare workforce so more people can receive timely treatment close to home.
Her standard for healthcare policy is practical: does it help people get the care they need, when they need it, at a cost they can afford?
Peterborough and Sharon need housing options that allow working families, young adults, and older residents to remain part of our communities.
Amanda supports making it easier to build starter homes, duplexes, and accessory dwelling units; converting suitable vacant buildings into housing; and directing state resources toward the water, sewer, and other infrastructure communities need to accommodate new homes.
She will work with municipal officials, housing organizations, and developers to identify barriers and advance projects that meet local needs while protecting the natural features that define our towns.
Her focus is on practical options: homes people can afford to buy, rentals within reach of local wages, and smaller, accessible homes for residents who want to downsize.
Our forests, waterways, open spaces, and rural character are part of what makes this region home. Amanda will work to protect them.
She supports land conservation, clean water protections, energy efficiency, and responsible clean energy development. She will advocate for state assistance that helps towns protect drinking water, conserve important open spaces, and prepare roads and infrastructure for flooding and severe weather.
Amanda opposes data center development in our communities. She will scrutinize large development proposals for their effects on water supplies, electricity demand, local costs, and natural resources, and defend communities’ ability to shape their future.
Growth should meet community needs and respect the land and resources that sustain us.
Amanda will defend equal rights, reproductive freedom, and the dignity of every person in our community, including LGBTQ+ neighbors. She believes healthcare decisions belong with patients, families, and qualified providers, and opposes laws that single people out for discrimination.
Her commitment is clear: protect people’s rights while delivering on the everyday needs of Peterborough and Sharon—strong public schools, affordable housing, accessible healthcare, and lower costs for working families.
Amanda’s leadership experience has taught her how to move from a broad goal to a workable plan: understand the problem, bring the right people together, identify resources, and follow through.
In Concord, she will:
Develop practical legislation and budget proposals informed by local needs and the people responsible for delivering services.
Work with local officials, educators, healthcare providers, housing organizations, and residents to identify what is working and what needs to change.
Build support across committees and party lines where there is common ground, while remaining clear about her commitments.
Examine costs and outcomes so public dollars support programs that meet community needs.
Remain accessible and accountable, explaining her votes and reporting regularly on what has advanced, what is stalled, and what comes next.
As a working parent, Amanda understands the pressures of balancing employment, children, caregiving, and household costs. As a healthcare and nonprofit leader, she understands the preparation, persistence, and difficult decisions required to deliver results.
This seat belongs to the people of Peterborough and Sharon. Amanda will work to earn your trust through clear commitments, consistent follow-through, and service to the whole community.
