Varsity Girls Coach
Cory is still relatively new to the Dallas area. He moved down here in July 2018 to work at Texas Instruments as a Process Engineer. He is originally from Rochester, New York, which he wants to emphasize is nearly 6 hours away from New York City and is much closer to Canada.
Cory bowled competitively throughout high school and was part of the college bowling program at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he also served as Vice President of the club in 2012 and as President from 2013-2016. Here are some notable achievements from his bowling career:
Member of Rochester USBC Hall of Fame: Youth Career Achievement (2011)
NYS High School State Champion (2010)
NYS Youth Team Champion (2013)
Buddies Pro Shop Junior Open Main Event Champion (2011)
USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship National Qualifier (2012)
USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship National Qualifier (2012,2014)
Two 1st-place individual finishes at college tournaments:
Penn State Classic (2013)

(5) 300 games (1 on sport shot) and (4) 800 series
Cory's most favorite accomplishment:

Premier Amateur Tournament in Upstate New York, all proceeds go to American Heart Association and RIT Bowling Club
Being the head coach for the Allen High School Bowling program is Cory’s first official coaching position. He has previously volunteered his time at clinics, practices, matches, and tournaments with his high school alma mater, West Irondequoit. He also filled in as an assistant at various practices and tournaments for RIT during the 2014-2015 season. He received his level 1 and bronze coaching certification through USBC last Fall.
In his free time, Cory loves watching and playing other sports, especially football and basketball. He is a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, but please don't feel sorry for him. His favorite food is chicken wings and his idol is John Wooden.
