Growing up in a time where technology is very much on the rise, Allen Chi has found a seemingly natural ability to grasp new concepts and products in the tech world. Whether it relates to science, engineering, gaming or other facets of technology, he enjoys reading new research and studies and trying out the next best thing. He loves having the newest phone, gaming consoles, car models, and beyond whenever he can get his hands on them to see what they have to offer and what they might mean for the future. Technology is a great way for Allen Chi to expand his mind and thinking processes, much like with his fascination with chess.

Chess is a game of mental strength and strategy that can help kids and teens develop valuable life skills and prepare them for future careers. Growing up Allen enjoyed playing checkers and slowly worked his way up to chess, learning about all of the different pieces, rules, and potentially strategies. As a teen Allen Chi helped establish a chess team at his high school which has continued to grow and succeed today, competing in local tournaments and some regional and national tournaments. Since then, chess has always played a major role in his life. Looking back, Allen realized how much his chess game improved other areas of his life including:
