Your final class grade can be viewed here. In case your Final grade failed to make it to the cut, check if you qualified for a removal exam. Those who qualified and successfully passed the removals (50% and up) will be getting a Final Grade of C- while those who failed will receive F.

Link to removals will be activated by the teacher during the exam period. Please check previous announcement for the schedule.

Hi,
Regarding removals, the list of students who will be taking the exam will be posted next week.
For those who did not join the field trip, your removals schedule is on April 12, 2018. Those who joined the field trip will have their removals on the Exam period.
Don't forget to submit the photocopy of your permits from prelim to finals and the official receipt for those who joined the field trip.

AMA will be having a regular class schedule during the field trip which means, those who'll join the trip are required to finish and present their entire Development Project on April 5, 2018. For those who are not joining, presentation is on April 10, 2018. We don't have another schedule unless you don't want the class to take the removals. For more important info about the project, please check the updated Project Guide doc.
Also I was thinking of having the removals on April 12, 2018 but I'm kinda unsure that everyone's around so we might have it on your Final Exam schedule. I'll be making a new announcement re. this soon.

Hi,
We won't have any classes tomorrow, April 3, 2018. Since no one's scheduled to present by tomorrow, this suspension won't affect our timeline. Those who need advising are welcome at CL4.

FE is rapidly approaching and there are a lot of groups left behind so I decided to change the Project Flow for your LE3.
Also, upon checking your grades I noticed that only few students will make it to the cut for removals so... through careful evaluation I decided to change the requirements for the Removals from two LE's with score 50 or higher into:
"A student must have at least two LE's with score 40 or higher."

As per the academic coordinator's advise, those students who'll be joining the field trip are entitled with the ff incentives on AMA's Regular Grading System:
Since we're following a different grading formula, students will still obtain the ff. remarks on a different form but with the same value that matches our calculation. Final grade is calculated as:
Final Grade = 50% Lecture + 50% Exam
Since incentive is only applicable on Lecture, we'll have to use:
Lecture = 50% Exam + 40% Quiz + 10% CS
On the standard AMA Grading System formula, total Incentive is 65% of Finals Lecture Grade, which is equivalent to 32.5% of Total Finals Grade (65% * 50% Lec).
So for all students who are taking my subject regardless if blended applicable or not, everyone who'll be joining the field trip will obtain an additional 32.5% on LE3.
Should you have questions or concerns, please feel free to send me an email.
Best regards,

Click Here to view the LE1 and LE2 scores.
The column D shows the minimum LE3 score needed to pass the subject. In case a student's general average fails to meet the cut off after the LE3 but qualifies for the removal exam, the removals will serve as the deciding factor of the student's grade.

Dear all,
The final exam (LE3) for both CS 362 and 305 will be a development project. Please see linked documents below for more information about the project and the process.
Also I created a shared document for you guys to register your team and to negotiate/book your presentation schedule/slots with the other teams.
Clarification on the flowchart: You'll only be presenting the documents during the presentation/consultation. Software will be presented on the 2nd presentation/consultation.
