My favorite little guy in the world is a first grader at Allen Road and we are so grateful to be a part of this community. We spend our free time at the karate studio and lacrosse field. We also enjoy spending time with our family and friends. I am honored to be a part of the PTO and to play a role in creating a safe, fun environment for our kids. I’ve been teaching first grade at Allen Road for 4 years now. I have a 2 year old son named Jaxon. Allen Road isn’t just where I teach it is a 2nd home. I am looking forward to being an active and involved member of our parent teacher organization as the co Vice President to continue a strong involvement in the enrichment of our Allen road community.

My little guy is currently in first grade at Allen Road, and his little sister isn’t too far behind. When I’m not at work, I spend my summers chasing the kids in the Adirondacks with our extended family, and my winters baking and reading (and chasing the kids!). I graduated from CNS, and after nine long years out of state, moved back to NY. We specifically chose the NSCSD because I was so happy with my education and experience here, and we were lucky enough to find a house allowing them to go to Allen Road! I’m excited to be part of the PTO as it allows me to have a better idea of what’s going on at the school, get involved and hopefully make a difference for these kids, and to meet fun new friends. I currently have a son in Fourth grade and a daughter in Kindergarten. I served two years as PTO treasurer, & one year as recording secretary! Now I fill the role of Playground Committee Chair!I love Allen Road because of the staff, the kids, and their wonderful families. I like to be a part of the PTO community because it helps me keep a finger on the pulse of my child's education, mingle with the staff and other moms, and learn about ways that I can be of help to my child's school community. I hope that you will join us for a PTO meeting sometime to see what it's all about!! My boys are currently in first and second grade here at Allen Road. Having graduated from a much smaller district, I took an interest in the PTO to keep up with all the goings-on in the school and to play a more active role in what my boys can take part in during their time here. When we’re not partaking in all the usual school-year activities, we’re on the soccer field, on the water, or spending time at camp with family and friends. I’m looking forward to the camaraderie that comes with the PTO and the Allen Road community, and I hope that you have the opportunity to check us out for yourselves! Want to know more?
