Allan Lutz

A little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness.

—Likkutei Amarim 12

My name is Allan Lutz. I was born in San Francisco, California, in the Mount Zion Hospital on December 13, 1943. I was born in the same hospital and the same room where my father was born in 1911.

We continued to live at 1616 Golden Gate Avenue in San Francisco, California, until 1945.

We then moved to Petaluma, California, in 1945, where I have lived ever since.

In 1948 we moved to Lohrman Lane.

I own and run the Lutz Bag Company, which my grandmother started in 1905.

My father took it over in 1941, and in 1973 I took it over.

My purpose in life as a Torah Jew is to serve G-d. I aspire to do this by helping those around me and treating others as I want to be treated.

I enjoy my weekly class in Torah and Tanya. I also enjoy learning more about how to improve my life and health.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my online home.

We would do well to heed the advice of King Solomon, the wisest of all men, when he wrote at the end of the book of Ecclesiastes,

Ultimately, all is known; fear G–d, and observe His commandments; for this is the whole purpose of man.

In the words of our Sages, “I was created for the sole purpose of serving my Maker.”
