What is GangJeong?
Gangjeong (강정) is a traditional Korean snack made from crispy, sweet-coated rice cakes, nuts, or grains. The base ingredients are usually puffed rice or glutinous rice cakes, then coated in a sticky syrup made from honey or malt, often sprinkling sesame seeds or nuts on top. Its crunchy texture and sweet flavour make it a popular treat during holidays and special occasions.
We add our own distinct character to this traditional snack by combining the best of Korean tradition with Western themes and flavours — who can resist carrot cake?
