DAY 1
Step 1:
You will be split up into small groups, each group with one type of graph.
Step 2:
Once you and your group of graphing experts have been introduced to one another, you will begin to explore your specific type of graph with the 5 websites provided. First you will read an article, then watch a video, then practice using your graph with an online activity, then you will read a little more about your graph and take a 10 question quiz, and finally you will practice creating your graph for when you create your final piece.
Step 3:
To find the websites to help in your research, click on the buttons provided underneath each type of graph.

For example, if I am becoming a graphing expert in line graphs, I would click and research the 5 websites under the heading titled LINE GRAPHS.
Step 4:
Work together in your groups to determine four things about your graph.
Define what your graph is.
How do you use your data to create your graph?
What are the parts of the graph?
How do you read the graph?
Step 5:
Your group will work together to complete this guided sheet while gathering the information on your graph. MAKE ONE COPY FOR YOUR WHOLE GROUP! This will become useful when creating your presentation
DAY 2
Step 1:
Your group will create a simple survey with one question and multiple choices to give to the class to use as your data points for creating your graph.
**UTILIZE THE VIDEO ATTACHED BELOW TO LEARN ABOUT CREATING A GOOGLE FORM SURVEY**

Step 2:
Your group will then interpret the data you have collected and create a graph, using the graph you have become experts in, using the "Create Your Own Graph" button under your assigned graph.
DAY 3
Step 1:
If your group has not finished making your graph with your data, finish that before moving on to make the PowerPoint on Google Slides.
Step 2:
Once all your information is collected, your group will create a presentation to teach your other classmates what you have learned about your type of graph. Your group will use Google Slides to present your information that should include:
Slide 1: Your graph name (include pictures)
Slide 2: Definition of your graph
Slide 3: Listed parts of your graph (include pictures and labels)
Slide 4: How you use data to create your graph (include pictures)
Slide 5: Your completed survey and responses (include pictures)
Slide 6: Your final graph
Slide 7: How you read your graph with your data and the parts of the graph
DAY 4
Step 1:
Finish up making presentation in the first 15 minutes of class. After that, we will present!
Step 2:
After your presentation is done, go to the CONCLUSION page to complete the final steps of your WebQuest.
