The jokes/slogans in the middle pages aren't great, but the point is to atleast put something to maintain the vibe

Main pics now retaken & greenscreened. Need to retake the additional ones

Due to phone issues (basically a landline) can't retake pics to position by the one separate light source I have (the TV!) so it's appropriate to the scene

I'm fond of Google Sites as this is my 3rd website now & it's slick & the only free one without ads which is crucial as atmosphere is important & I like minimalism because I like efficiency. However it has limitations:

Difficult to ensure the entire background shows without clipping

Soon:

CD/album video reviews
Additional angles/scenes as items are now in picture carousels (the 2nd pic looks
bad, but to show it can
be done)

About:

I wanted to make a website from scratch as opposed to for existing ideas (I have 2 portfolio websites). So I pretend to sell my precious gear here, cos I'd still rather do that than use stock images etc!

Retail websites always have a 2D layout, as it shows the products uniformly. However my 3D layout makes everything look so much cooler. For that room size it would work for a few such items, but other rooms can be made to display more products in a smaller size/thumbnails

I love the fact that the website is "physical", that was the main thing I wanted to do different. There is a definite feeling of being in a room as the image that fills the screen is that, coupled with the angle showing it as 3D not flat

Light does interesting things deep underground in Planet Zoo, where these pics were taken. Water turns to mirrors, objects look otherworldly (eg stairs near a bright source)

Typically the only editing is bit of paint.net to remove the reticle, I did similar for the edge where the floor pieces meet on the image on the home page, otherwise it looked like this straight from the game, lens flare etc

The intro doodle is based on the "press button, receive bacon" meme. As I add to the site I'll have more premises for jokes. ATM is based on ok I'll make a retail site but no retailer sells both CDs and audio equipment so All Things Music hence ATM hence the intro doodle
