This is my heart for all of you this year. I desire that you wouldfind your help from the LORD. There isa way that we can face the difficulties of life and not turn to theLORD. When facing trials, we can easilyturn to other things for help. When sick, we can look to doctors. When financial crisiscomes, we can look for another job to meet the void. When relational difficulties come,we can withdraw into our own hole. When you have difficult choices to make concerningyour future, you can try to figure it out all by yourself. When temptations come, youcan try to overcome them by shear willpower. And these things may help you in the dayof trouble. But, with such a perspective, you will be looking to yourself and your ownmeans, rather than to God and His means.

Church family, I want for you to know this. I want for you toexperience this in 2008--the protecting hand of God upon your life. I want for you toknow God as your helper. From where does my help come? My help comes from theLORD. Will you live by faith in2008?

When life seems desperate and pain is abundant, who do we turn to? In both the good and bad times, where does our help come from? As Christians, we can lift our heads and find our hope in the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

She pointed out that the heathens would place their idols on the highest point so that they could look towards their god(s) from any where that they found themselves. It was a reference point as to where their god and thus their help was situated. They could then face him/her and worship them.

He will take care that his people shall not fall. Thou shalt not be hurt, neither by the open assaults, nor by the secret attempts of thine enemies. The Lord shall prevent the evil thou fearest, and sanctify, remove, or lighten the evil thou feelest. He will preserve the soul, that it be not defiled by sin, and disturbed by affliction; he will preserve it from perishing eternally. He will keep thee in life and death; going out to thy labour in the morning of thy days, and coming home to thy rest when the evening of old age calls thee in. It is a protection for life. The Spirit, who is their Preserver and Comforter, shall abide with them for ever. Let us be found in our work, assured that the blessings promised in this psalm are ours.

The greatest helper you need in this life concerning any issue, be it big or small is the Lord Almighty. The one that is strong in battle.

If you don't seek divine help from above, you will be left to fight different challenges all by yourself and no friend would wait. God never leaves you in times of trouble.

Do you know that person you are meeting for help also depends on our God for help? Do you think God doesn't hear you?

How do you seek help from God?

Pray always. Prayer is a way of communicating with God. You need help in every are of your life? Pray.

When you are confronted with the greatest issues of life, pray and ask God for help. My Father is the only one that helps without collecting a dime. The bible says God blesses one without adding sorrow to it.

Have you ever seen anyone that went to another source outside christ for help, that is not having something to pay for it? It is true that other sources will give you what you want and at the moment you are happy you recieved it, as time goes on, you will start paying sorrowfully for what you have recieved outside God's power. How hurry are you to get help from different source? Don't be, It is better to be patient. Once your sins are forgiven, then you recieve divine help.

Anyone going to help you asking for strange things? They are not God sent, flee! Some while looking for promotion go to sleep with their bosses that they think has the promotion of man at hand. Friend, I tell you today that when you are about to recieve help from above, not even the devil can dare stop God concerning you issue. When God says yes, no man can say no. When God lift you up and promote you, who is that man that can dare God to demote you?

So I lift my eyes to the mountains, but I know that my help, my strength, does not come from the mountains. My help comes from the one who made the mountains, who made earth and heaven. I lift my eyes to the sky, to the heavenly.
