This Privacy Policy describes how All Document Reader ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To provide document viewing, file management, storage, and connectivity capabilities, our Application requests specific Android device permissions:
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Requested on devices running older Android versions (up to SDK 32 and SDK 28 respectively) to allow reading, saving, and editing documents on your device.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access): Requested on devices running Android 11 (API level 30) and above to grant the Application access to device storage. This permission is strictly utilized to allow you to scan, organize, view, read, and manage document files (such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPT, TXT) across your external storage.
INTERNET: Allows the Application to connect to the internet to load online assets, ads, and analytical features.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Allows the Application to monitor active network connections (e.g., checking if Wi-Fi or cellular data is enabled).
We use the permissions and access granted for the following purposes:
Core Application Functionality: To open, read, display, edit, or manage document files stored on your device at your direct request.
Network Operations: To enable online features, load required third-party services, or transfer data over network connections when required.
App Optimization & Analytics: To monitor connection status, analyze performance, fix crashes, and ensure smooth operation.
Local Data Processing: File reading and document management operations occur locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or upload your private documents or personal files to external servers.
No Unnecessary Data Retention: We do not retain personal document content on external servers beyond what is required to execute user-requested features.
The App may use third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies. These services may include:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Android Text-to-Speech engines
AppLovin
Vungle
Optional AI service providers
Please review their respective privacy policies for more detailed information on how they handle your data.
We prioritize the safety of your information. While no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, we use standard, commercially reasonable safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of your permissions and data.
Our Application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
You can grant or revoke permissions granted to the Application at any time through your device settings:
Android Settings > Apps & Notifications > All Document Reader > Permissions
Note: Disabling storage permissions will prevent the app from reading or displaying files stored on your device.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
