CORE AND BELIEFS

Godhead: The Church believes in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost as three distinct beings united in purpose, often referred to as the "Godhead."

Jesus Christ: Members believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of humanity, and that through His Atonement, all can be saved and return to live with God.

Restoration of the Gospel: The Church teaches that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through Joseph Smith and continues to be led by modern prophets.

Plan of Salvation: The Church believes in a plan for life, called the Plan of Salvation, which explains the purpose of life, the pre-mortal existence, and life after death, including resurrection and eternal life with families in heaven.

Scripture: Besides the Bible, the Church also considers the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price as sacred scripture.
