In order to protect the citizens of Alkanuit, dangerous terrorist ideologies such as Marxism, Communism, and Fascism are unacceptable.
Communism may be defined as a political ideology aiming to deplete economic freedom by handing the major means of production, such as factories and mines, to the people. It prevents freedom of religion, one of the principles of Alkanuit, suppresses opponents, such as people and the media, and freedom in Alkanuit is simply not compatible with this oppressive ideology.
Marxism brings Communist ideology, and thus Marxist theory is prohibited from Alkanut's official government.
Fascism is defined as a far-right authoritarian ultranationalist terrorist ideology, encouraging racism, imperialism, hate on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Fascism prevents the ideals of which Alkanuit stands for. It prevents basic freedoms, like expression.
Any political group in Alkanuit is formally prohibited from taking offices of any kind, and any individual in the Alkanuitian government who supports these distasteful harmful and hateful political ideologies shall be removed from the office in which they inhabit. Section 1.0: Companies own something known as copyright on their works. However, it is more restricted than other places. Citizens may create works of art and other forms of media freely without being forced to shut down.
Section 1.1: Citizens can freely and maintain without restriction access to their services that companies provide them. Companies shouldn't make services that people pay for obsolete unless nobody pays for it.
Modifications (Also known as "modding") are fully allowed on all systems released by companies as long as the user is not illegaly downloading content they didn't pay for which would usually be paid for. However, an exception is if the company is no longer selling their product or content. For example, if you bought a Nintendo 64, you cannot legally buy games for it except buying it from resellers for double or even triple the original game's price. This is a huge barrier as many of us are in different financial situations and may not be so fortunate to be able to pay for these overpriced games. It becomes perfectly legal to access them through "illegal" means as long as they come from safe sources.
This is a new page and not all of Alkanuit's laws are displayed. There are more laws that have not been added to this list yet. All new laws, however, are complete and new to the current time.
