I draw in this book my personal and public past, where personal desires morph into gigantic monuments, similar to those scattered around the city of my childhood. Now, all these monuments are tall and abstract trees; totally abstract. What’s the past if not a film without colors.

Longing is often a result of a distance/time difference between two elements that are always in constant motion and yearning. Fear/past is solely larger and motionless, and constantly attempting to chase those binaries.
