As teachers of modern languages, (Spanish and French), it is imperative that we discover different strategies to deliver lessons using the synchronous modality, whilst ensuring that it meets the best interest of the students. This website seeks to give teachers of modern languages insights on the characteristics of an effective teacher verified by the Jamaica Teaching Council. The beginning teachers' programme conducted by the Jamaica Teaching Council (JTC), trains beginning teachers to display competence in computer literacy in order to facilitate students using the inquiry-based learning approach and encourages active student participation.
