INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN & LEARNING STRATEGY CONSULTANT
Meet Aliya!
Training demands are increasing, and teams are stretched thin. Learning must move beyond information delivery and drive meaningful behavior change.
I design human-centered learning systems that translate complex challenges into clear expectations, practical tools, and consistent reinforcement. Grounded in instructional design science, the AGES brain-based model, restorative practices, and equity-centered facilitation, my work strengthens leaders, improves alignment, and reduces barriers to success.
As a former educator, restorative justice coach, DEIB facilitator, Senior Family Learning Designer, and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, I bring both relational depth and systems-level strategy. I build learning experiences that are inclusive, measurable, and built for sustained execution—not one-time events.
For over a decade, I’ve developed learning ecosystems that support people, improve performance outcomes, and earn national recognition, including OnCon Icon Top 10 and Top 50 L&D Team honors.
Here are a few eLearning projects I’ve created using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Each one was built with real learners in mind—mixing visuals, interactivity, and storytelling to make content stick. Take a look around!

When to Manage and When to Lead was developed as part of a hybrid learning journey for industry leaders. This session was designed to be a virtual or in-person instructor lead training (ILT).
Explore the resources below to learn more about my work, including examples of reusable prompts, worksheets, and job aids.
Learners can use this this worksheet during a virtual or in-person ILT session of 'Onboarding New Employees in a Digital Age' (see above).

I’ve been lucky to work with some incredible people—smart, collaborative, and just fun to build with. Here’s what a few of them have shared about working together.
“Aliya was receptive and welcoming to feedback. She was quick to incorporate feedback, and she was easy to give feedback to! She was great to have on my sequence team, as I knew she would deliver on anything asked. She was a true team player!”
“She is dependable, accountable, and so personable! She has such a drive and desire to do great work, and it really shows. Her work ethic and creativity make for an ideal partner!”
Aliya took the initiative to lead the cohesive design elements in the first TAG sales effectiveness sequence. To this date, we are still using the course banners and reflection icons/blocks that she created. "
"She earned the Q3 recognition award (Make It Happen) because of this project. Indeed, she made it happen! Her MCD calculator caught the eye of key stakeholders including both Doctor McDonough and PV (Sr. Director) – both of whom expressed gratitude for Aliya picking up the work quickly but also awe at the extent of what she created."
