I teach graduate-level courses, deliver guest lectures, and run workshops and seminars. I supervise Master’s projects and PhD dissertations.
In my teaching, I emphasise problem-based learning, policy analysis, and integrating theory with real-world case studies. I encourage critical thinking and interdisciplinary perspectives, and promote active student engagement in both the classroom and research settings.

This course introduces the key concepts and tools needed to address water management challenges within the context of public policy. The course starts with basics on the water cycle, surface and groundwater, as well as major issues such as water consumption, the impact of climate change, and integrated water resources management. Through case studies, discussions, and a transboundary water governance simulation, students examine water security, water policy, and water diplomacy with a focus on sustainability and cooperation.
This course examines the role of agriculture in economic development by applying economic principles to analyse key policy instruments, such as subsidies, price supports, and quotas. Through practical exercises and case studies, students develop an understanding of how agricultural policies influence markets, trade, and rural livelihoods. The course also covers trade policy, regional integration, and contemporary issues such as land governance, food security, the water–energy–food nexus, and environmental sustainability.
