The 2026 MDes Forum Book

The 2026 MDes Forum on Emerging Technology (From Interface to Agency) was held in the spring at UC Berkeley, and brought together a unique group of designers, technologists, academics and educators to interrogate and discuss the field of Agentic Design.

A variety of keynotes, panel discussions, lightning talks, and a day-long workshop were held as part of the forum.

As part of my roles in both MDes and DDO, I was tasked with collecting artifacts from the forum and assembling them faithfully into a comprehensive proceedings document, which sought to capture every talk and dialogue from the weekend into a single book for publication. 

The book is expected to be published late in 2026.
