I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Syracuse University and expect to graduate in May 2027. I am an international trade economist working at the intersection of political economy, demographic change and geoeconomics.

My job-market paper studies whether cross-border healthcare services trade can mitigate the welfare effects of population aging in Europe. My other research projects examine the emergence of alternative trade-settlement arrangements under financial sanctions and the age-specific labor-market and electoral responses to the China Shock.

Before beginning my Ph.D., I spent twelve years in investment banking in Brazil. I hold an M.Sc. in Economics from FGV São Paulo School of Economics and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas.
