Dr. Ali Nawaz Ranjha is a Postdoctoral Researcher appointed at Carleton University, where he holds the prestigious FRQNT B3X fellowship. He received his M.S. degree in Innovation in Telecommunications from Lancaster University, U.K., in 2018, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from ÉTS in 2022. Dr. Ranjha’s research pioneers the intersection of next-generation telecommunications and quantum technologies. His primary research interests include hybrid quantum-classical optimization techniques, quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum-enhanced UAV networks, and physical-layer security. His broader expertise encompasses 6G HRLLC, autonomous systems, and the design of sustainable, net-zero communication networks.
