I am currently an Assistant tenured Professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where I am Vice-General Coordinator of the Multicenter Graduate Program in Mathematics of Minas Gerais. I have a PhD in Mathematics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas with an exchange period at the Universitat de Barcelona; I am Master and Licentiate in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal de  Viçosa. My areas of interest are Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry, in particular the study of weak and strong Lefschetz properties, Togliatti Systems, Moduli Space of Vector Bundles on Projective Manifolds and Derived Categories.
