TIMELINE
In 2008, I started my bachelor's program in Biomedical engineering. In 2009, I earned a scholarship to perform research in medical imaging equipment (until 2011), which I loved. In 2011, I earned a scholarship to study in France for one year at Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
In 2013, I became a Biomedical Engineer at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Brazil), and in this same year, I was approved in first place in the master’s selection at the graduate program on nuclear energy and received a scholarship for 2 years. During this time I did an analysis of image quality and dosimetry in digital mammography.
In 2016, I was approved for the Doctorate Program of Pontifícia Universidad Católica de Chile with a scholarship from ANID. I did my research in the biomedical imaging center where I learned how to process images and spectra from nuclear magnetic resonance, my research was to characterize the fatty acids in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease using magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
In 2018, I had the opportunity to do an internship at University Medical Imaging Centre Utrecht and another one at Kings College London, UK.
After receiving my PhD in 2020, I started a PostDoc at Universidad de O'Higgins to optimize the microbubbles localization in super-resolution ultrasound images.
In general, during all these years I have acquired experience in medical imaging and image/signal processing in diagnostic medical imaging equipment.
