Alina Ostling

Alina holds a PhD title in Political Sciences from the European University Institute and has a strong professional background in democracy studies, digital and social innovation, governance, co-creation and public participation. 

Presently working at Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), Alina is part of many different projects and collaborations, all with democracy at heart. In addition to Alina's academic expertise, she has over 25 years of experience as evaluator and expert providing support and advice to international and civil society organisations (European Commission, Council of Europe, UNDP, Open Government Partnership, Global Integrity, Transparency International).
