The following has contributed to my preparation and qualification to be a Trustee at OHA…
- My broad, balanced educational preparation include:
- U.C. Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSF in the sciences, humanities
- MA in Education in America, Aristotle University in Europe
- Jewish studies Ph.D. research at Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Hebrew Universities in the Middle East
- Served over 45 years in diverse humanitarian service... My humanitarian service, practical experience, and creative leadership in America, Europe, and the Middle East also includes:
- Providing patient care delivery in hospitals, serving as President of the Zionland Foundation advancing culture-educational, development, and peace, and advancing Hawaiian human rights as Prime Minister of the Interim Government of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
- Longtime Neighborhood Board Member.
- Other various work experience locally, nationally, and internationally.
I advance community unity, meet diverse individual and group needs and interests, and advance our community's contribution locally and beyond.
My interests for the community include:
- affordable housing, eliminating homelessness, facilitating employment, health, fitness, and affordable healthcare, legal assistance for Hawaiians
- family unity, incarceration resolution, and diverse economic alternatives
- educational excellence and scholar exchanges, Hawaiian entitlements, Liliuokalani’s honor, Hawaii’s motto, cultural-educational development
- and peace domestically and abroad.
These things will help to keep and make the world a better place in which to live.
