Serves as approval authority for calibration, inspection and testing, nonconforming, corrective and preventive action, handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery, quality records and statistical technique procedures.
Communicates with customers, management, Sales and Marketing to resolve issues related to returned goods and quality complaints. Ensures that procedures are developed for control of nonconforming material within the plant.

Approval authority for calibration, inspection and testing, nonconforming, corrective and preventive action, handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery, quality records and statistical technique procedures.
Technical support and analysis for the entire heat treat operation, with responsibility for developing heat treat policies and procedures for new materials and processes.
Material selection for new products and cost-saving material substitutions for existing products. Coordinate testing of above and provide economic analysis and justification.
Corrective action implementation when product non-conformities arise.
