AlignTime Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with the AlignTime mobile application.

1. Information Collection and Use

We prioritize your privacy and aim to collect the minimum amount of data necessary for the App to function.

•Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to our own servers.

•Apple Music Integration: If you choose to use Apple Music as an alarm sound, we use the Apple Music SDK to authenticate your account and access your library. This process is handled securely through Apple. We do not store your Apple credentials or any data from your Apple Music library on our servers.

•Local Music Files: If you choose to use a song from your device, we request permission to access your local audio files. This access is used solely to play the music you select for your alarms.

2. Permissions

We require certain permissions to provide the App's core functionality:

•Internet Access: Used for Apple Music authentication and retrieving track information.

•Notifications: Used to alert you when an alarm is triggered.

•Alarms & Reminders: Used to schedule precise alarm times.

•Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Used to show the alarm screen even when your device is locked or you are using another app.

•Storage/Media Access: Used to allow you to select and play local music files as alarm sounds.

3. Data Storage

We store all App settings, including your saved alarms and favorites, locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, and we do not upload it to any external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party service:

•Apple Music: Used for music playback. Your use of Apple Music is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or data-tracking services.

5. Security

Since we ensure all your data remains on your device, its security depends on the security of your mobile device itself. We recommend using standard device security features (like PINs or biometric locks) to protect your information.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will reflect any changes in the App or on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
