I am a computational chemist with extensive expertise in predicting the acidities, basicities, and solubilities of drugs and small organic molecules, as well as the properties of photosensitizers. My research also focuses on proton and electron transfer reactions, computational spectroscopy, molecular dynamics simulations, and the structural and photophysical properties of organic compounds, organometallic compounds, and metal complexes. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Udine in Italy, where I am conducting computational studies on rare earth metal complexes with curcumins as ligands to design novel photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy applications in cancer treatment.
