Reimagines urban upcycling as a community-driven public infrastructure that transforms discarded materials into social and spatial value through architecture. The project proposes an Upcycling Hub supported by a network of green pocket spaces along Jalan Ampang, operating through principles of urban acupuncture and distributed public programs. Instead of concentrating waste-related activities within a single isolated building, processes such as collection, repair, learning, and exhibition are embedded across walkable pocket nodes connected by a linear green spine with pedestrian and bicycle routes. The main hub functions as the civic and productive core, while the pocket spaces act as localised entry points that integrate upcycling into everyday urban life. Through openness, visual permeability, and active ground-level circulation, the architecture reframes upcycling from a hidden, industrial process into a visible and shared urban experience, positioning the community as active participants in social interaction, environmental awareness, and urban regeneration.
