Hey guys I did a clean install of my OS, forgot to backup the original Alienware theme that comes when you first get the laptop. I already added details and logo to the OEM in System properties. I have the backgrounds downloaded as well.. only thing im missing is the actual colors that it uses.. i remember it was a sort of purple.. can any of you please share me your theme! It would mean a lot!
I upgraded to Windows 10 and I wanted to find the .theme file for the default theme with the white Alienware wallpaper that my Alienware 15 came with. When I looked in C:/Windows/Resources/Themes I cant find it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Did some quick research and couldn't find that there was a specific windows/dell update that was doing this. These are dell desktops but not alienwares. It looks like it installed some alienware "synced theme" in the personalization settings which I showed the users how to remove. Anyone see this lately? Our AV didn't flag anything and there were no other signs that the systems were tampered with but thought I'd ask the community here about it too.
Two things bother me about this window. First, the intensity of the window name in the title bar for active windows is just too dull for me. The inactive windows have a bright white title that attracts my eye more than the dull cyan color of the active title.
Second, I like dark wallpapers, as you can see in Figure 1. Because the bottom edge of the window does not have a cyan highlight, it can be difficult to determine where the bottom of the windows are located, especially when there are a lot of overlapping windows open.
All of the decorative themes I download are located in the /usr/share/themes/ directory so all users will have access to them. Each theme is located in a subdirectory, so the Alienware-Bluish theme is located in the /usr/share/themes/Alienware-Bluish/xfwm4/ directory. The xfwm stands for xf window manager version 4.
If you install your themes in your home directory, they will be located in the ~/.local/share/themes/Alienware-Bluish/xfwm4 directory. Themes stored in your home directory are not available to other users on your computer.
I don't like to work on the original files for anything important like a theme, so I used my own non-root account to copy the /usr/share/themes/Alienware-Bluish directory and its contents to a new directory, /usr/share/themes/Alienware-Bluish-2. This gives me a safe place to work without inadvertently damaging the original beyond repair. It also copies files and changes the ownership of the copied files to my own account, so I can copy and edit the files.
View the files in the /usr/share/themes/Alienware-Bluish-2/xfce directory using Thunar or another file manager that lets you view image thumbnails, then zoom in to increase the size of the images. Expand the images so you can see them better. Each *.xpm (X11 Pixmap) file is an image of a small window frame section, as you can see in Figure 2.
Had I not liked the results, I could have made additional changes and tested again. At this point, however, I would have had to change back to the original Alienware-Bluish theme (or any other theme) and then back to the Alienware-Bluish-2 theme to verify the change. The revised files are not loaded until the theme is re-read.

Do you have the Alienwear theme available for windows 11? That theme is really cool. I am visionly impared and very sensitive to bright light etc. These themes help me out a lot, threy make it a lot easier to use a computer. I noticed there are areas that the task bar in certain programs show through to the desktop. I think this is because I have windows 11. On my other computers with windows 10 I have never had a problem it has worked perfectly.
Five Alienware themes are available after installation which can transform the Windows graphical user interface into futuristic looking interfaces. By default every aspect of the interface is changed which includes the background image, the system icons, color schemes, fonts and menu layout.
A click on the advanced link during setup gives the user the option to prevent elements from being installed. He could for instance opt out of installing the wallpaper image or the icon set. Usage itself is pretty straightforward. All five themes are available after installation.
A click on a theme loads a preview of it in the right pane. If you want to apply it click the apply button which will load another window with the advanced options I have mentioned earlier on. If you like Sci-Fi this could be something you definitely would want to try out. The icons and color schemes are top notch although I prefer lighter colors over dark ones used by the themes. Only the wallpapers seem to fall behind but it is not a problem to add your own custom wallpaper after applying the theme.
Update: The Alienware theme manager does not appear to be available anymore on the Alienware website. The web page redirects to the main company homepage with no apparent option to bring it back up.
The theme manager and pack is still available for download on third party websites such as Softpedia. Please note that the program may not be compatible with all versions of the Windows operating system, especially if they have been released after the last version of AlienGuise has been released.
