This generator is currently in beta and should faithfully reproduce the Alien Core Rulebook experience with the following changes:

The orbital component table has been revamped. If we roll for moons, then we apply those moons, up to 3, to the colonized planet. Otherwise, colonized planet can only get up to 2 moons.
If we roll for multiple components, we can get repeating components but won't get additional moons nor more multiple components. There's a slight variation in the distribution to allow more varied items with shorter title.

If you are looking for an improved Star System Generator, the Advanced version supports multiple colonies per colonized planets or per system and generates names.
