Roki is a small green dinosaur Dino race.
Together with his non-blood-related uncle, he roams space on a pirate ship, making a living by stealing valuable data and rare artifacts, which he later sells on the black market. His childhood was tough: his parents sold him for pennies, and his uncle constantly reminds him of this, emphasizing that Roki is nothing more than his property. On the ship, the little dinosaur does all the work — he handles calculations, repairs systems, cooks meals, and keeps things in order.
But as soon as his uncle turns away, Roki transforms: he becomes bold, self-assured, and even boastful. He genuinely believes his race is the best in the universe, even though almost no one knows about it.
Roki hates his parents and is convinced there’s no excuse for selling your own child — especially to a tyrant like his uncle. His weakness? Pineapples — a rare and expensive delicacy he adores.
Despite his showy bravado, he fears loneliness and panickingly avoids touch. He’s short and wears a spacesuit resembling a tanker’s uniform. His ears are on top of his head, on either side, while where others would have ears, he has barely noticeable gills — a vestigial trait that helps filter air.
Roki is an engineer, accountant, and the ship’s survival expert, and he also travels with Alice. He’s only 26 but has already been through enough for three lifetimes. And yes, he’s my favorite — mischievous, proud, and oddly endearing.
He has a natural ability to regenerate.
