AI Industry and Language Technology Experience 

NLP/NLU annotation, multilingual translation projects, machine translation evaluation

• Oversee the work of professional translators and linguists (e.g., translation, NLU/NLP annotation, evaluation of speech and text data)

• Manage language data collection, annotation, localization, and translation in over 130 languages, including low-resource varieties

• Monitoring annotators/translators productivity and quality

• Provide linguistic expertise in the areas of syntax, semantics, pragmatics and sociolinguistics

• Manage project to quality, time and budget for Appen's clients

• Prepare guidelines, training materials, tools/platforms as per client requirements

• Support coordination of a program and its activities: project tracking, client invoicing, forecasting

• Run client weekly business review meeting

• • Course Non-verbal Communication  | I helped to develop the course and gave lectures (15 hrs) in English for ~130 students of the 1st year MA in Communication Strategies (University of Padova); Lectures content: introduction to multimodal language, facial expressions of emotion, gesture, intercultural communication, multimodal data annotation (Elan); I supervised students' projects
