PhD Student in Economics
University of New South Wales
Sydney, Australia
I am a fifth year PhD student in economics at UNSW in Sydney. My research interests are in the areas of economic history, political economy, and institutional and cultural economics. I seek to take an interdisciplinary approach to these topics and understand the effect of policy, history, culture and society on people’s economic decisions and outcomes. I am particularly interested in women's suffrage and political participation across the globe - please reach out if you are too!
I will be on the 2025-26 job market.
Originally from the UK, I have an MA in applied economics from George Mason University, VA. I also work as a consultant for the World Bank focusing on women's economic empowerment in the Pacific. I visited Boston University in Fall of 2024.
