I am a PhD student in economics at UNSW in Sydney . My research interests are in the areas of economic history, political economy, and institutional and cultural economics. I seek to take an interdisciplinary approach to these topics and understand the effect of policy, history, culture and society on people’s economic decisions and outcomes. 

Originally from the UK, I have an MA in applied economics from George Mason University, VA. I also work as a consultant for the World Bank focusing on women's economic empowerment in the Pacific.
