My name is Ali Ghorbanpour. I am currently a Machine Learning Associate at the Vector Institute, working on generative AI and implementing agentic systems. Previously, I was a Data Science Intern at Reviewer.ly advised by Prof. Ebrahim Bagheri and Dr. Negar Arabzadeh, where I worked on NLP/IR models and helped move research into production. Earlier, I was a Graduate Research Assistant in Simon Fraser University’s Network and Multimedia Systems Lab advised by Prof. Mohamed Hefeeda, focusing on computer vision, image watermarking, and authentication. Before that, I held Research Assistant roles at Sharif University’s Intelligent Software Engineering Lab and Tapsell.

I completed my M.Sc. in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University. Before that, I earned my B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.

I am interested in Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Foundation Models.
