Hi,
My name is Ali Bakhtawar. I am a doctoral candidate in Economics at the Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE).
I am interested in Development Economics, Political Economy, and Law and Economics. My research has been published in The Economic Journal and is under Revise and Resubmit at American Economic Journal: Applied.
I am on the 2025/26 job market.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a pre-doc at the Precision Development (PxD). I helped implement and organize various RCTs and policy evaluations.
