Al-Hilaal Islamic Center was established in 2020 and it is home to a growing diverse community. It provides a variety of services such as, counseling, and educational programs. The mission of Al-Hilaal Islamic Center is to propagate and preach the Quran and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the righteous early followers of the prophet may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. The aims and purposes of this Mosque, Al-Hilaal Islamic Center is to provide services to the Muslim Community in the greater Florence area; to help them learn and preserve their culture and religion.
