Algorithms in Structural Bioinformatics (AlgoSB) schools focus on recent or novel algorithmic approaches applied to structural bioinformatics, taken in its largest sense. The goal is to bring together graduate students, postdocs, and established scientists from computer science, (bio)physics, (bio)physical chemistry, and mathematics with cutting-edge researchers in the problem domain, in a pleasant setting for learning new approaches and creating synergies for future work.
This year's edition
After extraordinary and ongoing advances in protein structure prediction, one turns naturally towards new approaches to inferring the protein dynamics essential for understanding their mechanisms and function.
In this edition of AlgoSB, six professors representing high-level international research laboratories will present recent approaches to this problem, through lectures coupled to hands-on practical sessions. Course descriptions
Audience
AlgoSB schools are targeted towards PhD students, postdocs, and researchers from academic research institutions and industry, both in France and internationally
Venue
The school will be held at the Institute for Scientific Studies of Cargèse (IESC) next to the small town of Cargèse (closest airport: Ajaccio) on the coast of the beautiful Mediterranean island of Corsica (France). Venue
