March 2020: Due to the health crisis we are living through, the Algebra day in Sardinia will no longer take place on the 15th of May 2020. We are currently assessing the possibility of postponing this event for a later date, and information will be posted on this website as soon as possible.
May 2021: Taking into account the travel restrictions and the health and safety concerns concerning the organisation of this event, we have decided to cancel the Algebra day in Sardinia.
This INdAM-funded Algebra day aims to promote and share some current trends of research in algebra to the whole mathematical community in Sardinia and partner universities. The talks will be aimed at a general mathematical audience and will be given by five national and international specialists in various areas of algebra and related subjects.
This meeting is also the first of a planned series of seminars co-organised between the algebra groups at the Universities of Cagliari and Catania (CACTAS - Cagliari-Catania Algebra Seminar).
